Increase of 17% in the turnover, enhanced ser­vice capa­bil­i­ties, more focus towards a sus­tain­able usage of the IT ser­vices, those are few of the high­lights in the pub­lished annu­al report.

One of the main goals  in the last year for us was the con­tin­u­ous ful­fill­ment of the require­ments set by the law for online ser­vices in Ger­many (OZG). Accord­ing to it 575 types of admin­is­tra­tive ser­vices had to be trans­formed and offered to the pub­lic online. We are proud to announce that, thanks to our “Bürg­erser­vice-Por­tal” 1.6 Mil. trans­ac­tions have been done in the last year in the Free State of Bavaria alone.

A sec­ond core area is cloud ser­vices. With the increas­ing num­ber of online ser­vices and out­sourc­ing offers, AKDB wants to offer its cus­tomers opti­mal data cen­ter capac­i­ties. So, in 2022 we have ini­ti­at­ed a large for­ward-look­ing project: the con­struc­tion of two new active-active data cen­ters in Bayreuth.
